Community Guidelines
Last updated August 8, 2026
FarmTableDirect is a community built on trust, transparency, and direct relationships between local farmers, ranchers, and families. These Community Guidelines set expectations for everyone who uses the Platform. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to follow these Guidelines.
Please let farmers and producers know you found them on FarmTableDirect. It helps grow the platform, shows them they're getting real value from participating, and means more choices for everyone.

3. Respect Other Users

4. Keep Transactions Off-Platform
- All sales, payments, delivery, pickup, and order arrangements occur directly between the farmer or rancher and the buyer.

7. Farm Profiles and Content

- The Platform is intended for almost anything that can be produced at the farm, ranch, or homestead, including cottage businesses.
- Barter and trade are also acceptable, be clear in your descriptions and intentions of how you want such trade to work.
- You may sell livestock, excess garden produce, trees, plants, and baked goods, etc.
- Sellers are responsible for knowing and following any applicable state or local regulations for what they sell, including cottage food rules for homemade food products.
8. Safety and Responsibility
- Users interact and transact at their own risk. Perform your own due diligence before purchasing or visiting a farm. We are all adults, let's act like it, and take responsibility for our own actions rather than expecting others to, or blaming others for our choices.
- The Company is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products, that is your responsibility to verify, nor for any disputes, injuries, or losses arising from interactions between users.
9. Enforcement
Violations of these Guidelines, or the Terms of Service, may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at the Company's sole discretion. Serious or repeated violations may also be reported to appropriate authorities when required by law.
10. Dispute Resolution
You must make every effort to resolve any disputes between yourselves before escalating to us or to authorities. We are not adult babysitters, and expect users to work out disagreements among themselves whenever possible.
